Adventure Man's Grilled Cheese

Ok, this isn't Adventure Man's recipe. He got it from the sous chef from the luxury resort he last worked for. As the AGM he would often miss lunch due to meetings and the kitchen staff would always find something for him when they could. This was one of them, and we've been making it at home ever since. We even had a staff movie night at our house and made it for all our staff. We made it for our folks, our family and friends, anyone who is adventurous enough to try it, and so far, we have never had anyone say they didn't like it. In fact, quite the opposite. So, either it's really good, or look out Hollywood, we've got your next up and comer!

Use sourdough bread,
butter the outsides of bread
drizzle inside of bread with honey
add peper jack cheese
hamslice

Grill as you would any other grilled cheeses. We use a pot lid that is too small for the pan and just big enough to go over the bead to create enough heat to melt the cheese faster.

Ranch Mama's add on:
I add diced marinated artichoke hearts (See picture). OMG! My favorite, but Adventure Man doesn't like it like that! It's up to you!

When we do it for a crowd we broil them in the oven. Flipping once. SO easy!
Enjoy!
