February Photo Fest

I've been missing in action.

Well, I've not been blogging and I've had a lot of action. 

Wait, not that kind of "action." But then again...

Oh never mind!

Here are my February photo-a-day shots which will give you an idea of where I've been 

and who I've been with. The rest will have to come latter!

Love is…. finding little hearts on the wall in the bathroom.    Inside Your Fridge ~ My MS shots. 

Perfect ~ The throw-up bucket is perfect for a road trip.    In Your Hand ~ Phone case.  

Something You Don't Like ~ Technical difficulties making our flight an hour behind.

Where I stood ~ On a Surf Board!     Full ~ a bowl full of papaya! 

Makes You Smile ~ (how could this not?) SCUBA Diving! 

A Word.     Cloud ~ a dark rain cloud looming over head didn't stop this stunning sunset! 

On Your Bedside Table ~ in the hotel room in LA.    Playing ~ in Grandma's back yard, where they stayed while Mom and Dad played. 

Quiet ~ The car was quiet as we waited for the tow truck to come pick us up from the airport! 

Upside Down ~ Our trip was turned upside down when our car gave up the ghost and we were forced to shop for a new one before we could head home! 

We were blessed that the car didn't wait till we were on the road before she died! But it was frustrating not being able to shop at our leisure and having to purchase out of state. It also raised the roof when it came to our trip budget… But at least we have a reliable family car that fits all our needs. 

So that is why I have been none existent for the month of February! I'm going to try and do better in March… although I'm not starting out very well, am I? 

Ha! 

January ~ My Month In Photos

We started 2013 off in California where Bunny got to see the beach for the first time. So we start with Today ~ We have Bunny at the beach. But it's also something new. Something New ~ my lovely scarf. 

 Heart ~ rubbed on the window of the car in ice. It was getting cold as we drove north.

 The View From Here ~ This wasn't the view from where I was that day, because we were driving home and I simply forgot to take a picture. SO this is the view from the top of the Dumbo Ride in Disneyland. Movement ~ Again, I didn't take this pic on that day, but the gas station in Pasadena CA had this great sign with the add-on of Racing Gasoline. So that's how the Little Old Lady From Pasadena did it!  Mine ~ The kids piled all the stuffed animals in the house on top of Bunny. Her favorite word is "Mine" plus, she is mine! 

1 o'clock ~ It snowed that day. Something that started with "T" ~ Tea, we started getting our first bunch of colds around this place. Street ~ That would be in Big Town! Little Town doesn't have street lights. 

Water ~ A hot herbal blend tea bath for Mama! From Nature's Tropical in Helena MT!

Circle ~ I needed some candles while in the bath! Yellow ~ my free range chicken egg! Yum!

An ordinary moment ~ Getting them rounded up and in the car to do the school bus run (this could also be used as Ready). Two things ~ Carrot and peanut butter. My snack! Shadow ~ The picture I drew in the disney art studio last month! 

Delicious ~ an avocado and spinach smoothy in the making. Something I saw ~ My 12 year old's art work. This is what she doodles! What I do ~ The dishes. And laundry, and bathrooms, and beds and...

Corner ~ of one of the guest cabins. Electric ~ The light in my kids bedroom. Is it any wonder they get so scared at night! Look at the shadow! All the light fixtures in our house were made by the original owner of the guest ranch. Some day I'll give you a tour! Strips ~ The snow drift fence we set up to protect our driveway. 

Landscape ~ It's small here but there are deer in that shot. Together ~ My Bean was in the school play. The Tortoise Versus the Hare put on by the Missoula Children's Theatre. She was one of the Reptiles. And The Sun ~ They don't call it Big Sky Country for nothing! 

 Grow ~ my Christmas Cactus has a bud! Yeah! Down ~ making cupcakes for their big sister for youth group. Yourself ~ That's me.

My Month In Photos Is Going To Be Late

We have been having so much fun this holiday season, there is just no way I can get the Photo-a-day pictures up for you for a little while longer. But to ease your pain and disappointment, here are just a few of what I have taken this month! Enjoy!

My Month In Photos

I'm really bad at multi tasking. I'm way to ADD for that. I didn't get all my photos taken this month, but here's what I've got. I'm sure December will be even less, as I will be traveling. 

• something that starts with a "C"     • Color     • breakfast

• TV    • 5 o'clock    • a favorite thing (smiling) ~ I'm starting to think about elves…  • reflection ~ can you see my kid sitting on the couch in the hutch glass? 

• something I do everyday ~ check the temp.    • small ~ a small workout (ok, not for me!)    • something I can't live without ~ my water! it goes everywhere with me. Also the girl who stole my water!    • night ~ the night we went on a date only to find the theatre closed!

• a drink   • where I slept ~ well, the view from where I slept.   • Man made   • In your bag ~ it's preschool music class day! 

• the view from my window ~ two of them: the kitchen window is where I can see the construction on the septic and my bedroom window where my kids like to watch the annual deer eating of the halloween pumpkins. 

• the last thing I bought ~ I bought it to make a pie with, but ended up just buying a store bought pie later on! Now what to do with the pie pumpkin!    • something I wore ~ flour!   • black ~ the molasses for the ginger bread!   • sky ~ it was snowing, but the sun was shining? 

• grateful. 

I am grateful for family. 

The shells remind me of my dear sister-in-law who lives in Florida.

We collected these shells while visiting her there. 

Her husband has just been deployed again and so they have been on our mind a lot this Thanksgiving.

This 1st tree is over 900 years old, I'm told. It is located just a few miles from my home. The 2nd is on our christmas tree. It came with it's own decor! And the 3rd would be Mr. Candy~Cane again, up to his old tricks.

I'm sorry this is so late and I have neglected my Blog! But as I said, I am bad at multi tasking when I have company and want to do other things! Do bare with me this month. I am trying to get things scheduled before we go on vacation. And I promise I will be back together with everything come January! I may be gone, but I haven't forgotten you! 

October Photo Challenge ~ My Month in Pictures

1. Where You Stood ~ At school, and the hike we did the day before.

3. This happened today! And our power was out for 15 hours because of it! Yikes, winter!

12. On the Table ~ Yes, I woke up, walked into the kitchen, and there was my baby's scoot - car, on the table.   13. Landscape ~ We don't usually need to use this road. It's much longer and gavel the whole way home. But our road was having work done. The last of the face lift. And they closed it that weekend! 

14. Makes Me Laugh ~ and did we ever when I showed him the pic and told him I wanted to put it on the Internet for all to see. He's such a good sport!   15. Dinnertime ~ in Little Town.  16. Something I Wrote ~ and yes, "Blow out candles" is on the job chart so they will quit fighting about who blows them out. We light candles at dinner, no mater what we eat, because the table wobbles and it makes the flame flicker and that reminds them to SIT STILL!

20. 4 O'clock ~ At the hair salon, and was it ever over due! It's been a year! (Scary!)   21. Calm

24. Weather ~ Oh yeah, winter is messing with us! It's all melted now and yesterday was in the high 60's.  25. People ~ having lunch.  26. Listening To ~ The New Pooh Movie. Bunny's most used word is "Pooh!" as she dictates what we watch… all the time!

27. Morning    28. Looking Back ~ this great old sign is seen as you leave the Cut Bank, MT area. I just had to snap a picture, the front says Ranch.

29. Moon ~ the moon was full, but the clouds were playing hide and seek. I thought it easier to share this lovely pastel work my dear Lulu made. 30. Clothes ~ Bean trying on her costume. We added more tulle to the skirt. I will share the finished product shortly. Can you tell we like owls around here?

31. Whatever You Please ~ This Halloween day turned out foggy and spooky looking! And the Yellow Giants that surround the house are not helping at all!
