A Ranch Mama ~ Nursery Rhyme

There was a young woman
Who really loved shoes.
She had a bunch of kiddos
But she knew just what to do!
She pulled out her bread maker
That big old beast,
She filled it with flour
And just enough yeast.
Then she fed them all bread
With a lots of butter so sweet,
Then kissed each toe head.
Now isn't she neat!

  1. This is an adorable poem that put a smile right on my face! I'm usually not huge on poems, but yours pulled me in. Maybe because it kind of reminded me of the old nursery rhyme about the woman who lived in a shoe and didn't know what to do. I also thought it flowed really well, great job! :)

    1. Thank you so much! It was based on the rhythm of The old lady in the shoe. I kept thinking, "there was an old woman who really loved shoes…"
